Mrs. Katie Blair

Hello Cardinal students and families!  This is my 16th year teaching at Melvindale High School. This year, I am teaching Business Management and Technology, Accounting 1-2 and Work-Based Learning. I received a Bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University, a Master's degree from Marygrove College, and a second Master's Degree from American College of Education. I have coached basketball and track at MHS, and I have sponsored multiple graduating classes. Currently, I am the Student Council advisor.

My husband and I have two children Blake (5th grade) and Maggie (2nd grade) who are very active, keeping me busy! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and supporting MHS students at sporting events and extracurricular activities.  

As a Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher I will provide my students with the academic and work skills necessary to succeed in college and careers.
