Mrs. Sara Gilleran

Hello Cardinal Students and Families!  This is my 16th year teaching at Melvindale High School. This year, I am Marketing. I received my Bachelor's in Business Administration degree from Central Michigan University, a Master's in Secondary Education degree from the University of Phoenix, and a second Master's Degree from American College of Education. Prior to teaching, I was an accountant and worked in the business field for eight years. 

My husband and I have two sons, Luke (18) and Colin (13). They are a lot of fun and keep us busy. I enjoy reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time with extended family.

As a Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher, I provide my students with the academic and work skills necessary to succeed in college and in their future career. I have been a class advisor, am the DECA advisor, and a Student Council advisor. I truly believe that students who are involved in extra-curricular activities feel more connected to their school community.
