Good morning! We don't have face to face class today. Your assignment must be completed and turned in by the end of the hour today in order to get credit. In order to get credit today you must submit your assignment at least 50% done. I will give you time in class on Tuesday as well but half it must be submitted to be marked present and get credit for today. If 50% is not done than I cannot except this assignment late. If you have any questions please me know. The assignment is posted under this annoucement.

Please throughly read all of the directions and complete the quiz below. When you are finished you may go. All quizzes must be submitted by the end of the hour at 12:45 for credit.

Within your group read both Langston Hughes poem "A Dream Deferred" and Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I have a Dream speech". After analyzing the works within your group complete the attached questions.

Attached you will find the instructions for your personal narrative final exam. Please review ALL attached documents before submitting your paper. All papers are to be constructed on a google doc. No slides. Final papers must be submitted no later than 4pm on Wednesday, January 20th. I look forward to hearing your stories.

Review your notes from class and discussion. Complete the following attached assignment on character traits.

eview the first 5 slides on the components of a setting. Find a photo that contains much detail. Describe the setting of the photo. Make sure you include all components of a setting along with descriptive words that appeal to each one of the five senses.

step in the process:
1. create a blank google doc
2. insert photo of choosing
3. write detailed description of setting ( no less than 6 sentences- if you are including all components and being detailed it should be longer than 6!)

Attached is the link for the article of the week #3. Please be prepared to discuss the article in your groups after reading. You will be receiving participation points for your contributions. Attached is also the directions for the assignment.

Please review the attached article for this week's assignment. Keep the following question in mind when you are reading the article: Should the voting age be lowered to 16? While reading make sure they you cite three pieces of evidence to support your opinion.

The directions are also attached for review. I will give you the first 15 minutes of class to review the article. Be ready to discuss and argue your position.
