Ms. Michelle Foster

Hello, my name is Ms. Foster. I have been at MHS since September of 2019, but began my career teaching science in 1997. I am passionate about teaching and about empowering students. I love to watch the light bulbs come on when students start to understand the concepts and how the different pieces fit together.
I was born and raised in Port Huron, Michigan. I started college in Ann Arbor at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) as a pre-med student. I chose to switch to education and transferred to Eastern Michigan University. I have a bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in General Science from EMU and a master's degree in Educational Psychology also from EMU.
In my free time, I enjoy photography, travel, nature, home improvement projects, reading, music, spending time with family and friends, and my big Newfoundland dog named Henry and cat, Maisie.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
