Ms. Wendy Demick

Hello my name is Ms. Demick. I have been teaching at Melvindale High School for 18 years. My education includes a BA in English, a Masters in Educational Leadership and a second Masters in Curriculum & Instruction with a concentration in Bilingual Bicultural Education. I am ESL certified and have also completed the Reading Apprenticeship and Literacy Leadership series.

 

My interest and hobbies include boating, biking, farming and family. I have two beautiful daughters who keep me young and active.

 

My professional goal is to assist students with increasing their reading lexiles by improving their reading fluency and comprehension.
