Andrew Post

Hello!  My name is Mr. Post and this is my 9th year as a teacher at Melvindale High School.  I am the Resource Teacher for the Science Department (Biology, Physical Science, & Chemistry).  I taught previously in another district, and this is my 17th year teaching overall.  I am so proud to be a part of the Melvindale-Northern Allen Park community and the Cardinal Family!  

 

I grew up in Dearborn and attended Dearborn Public Schools for my K-12 education.  I received my Bachelor's  and teaching degrees from The University of Michigan-Dearborn.  I also received my Master's degree from The University of Michigan-Dearborn.

 

When I'm not teaching, I'm usually with my family.  We bounce back and forth between youth sports, dance classes, and visiting relatives.  Any free time that I manage to find is dedicated to watching The University of Michigan's football and basketball teams (Go Blue!) 

 

I know that this will be a unique school year.  We are all in this situation together, and it is a honor to help you on this journey.  Melvindale High School is a amazing place to learn, grow, and achieve!
