Monica Diane Siembor

I am proud to be one of the English Language Arts teachers here at Melvindale High School.  This year, I will start my 24th year of teaching in the Melvindale-Northern Allen Park school district.  I am so honored to be a part of the Cardinal Family, and I love working here!

I attended the University of Michigan-Dearborn for my bachelor of arts degree in English and my master of arts degree in education.  In addition, I completed a master of science degree at Wayne State University in the field of library and information science.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my friend Michael, my Chihuahua dog, Betty, and my red-eared slider turtle, Goldie.  We go for walks in the park together every day.  I also enjoy reading, gardening, and watching old television shows from my childhood, such as Bewitched, I Dream of Jeanie, Frasier, and Magnum P.I.

I'm extremely excited to start this new school year, spending time with my colleagues and students.  Our high school is awesome, and the students are the best part of it.  We truly are a family at M.H.S.

Here are some pictures of my pets.
