Mrs. Goodreau
My name is Mrs. Goodreau and this is my 13th year teaching. (Lucky number 13!) I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies and a minor in English. I completed my first Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University, Ann Arbor. Because I consider myself a life-long learner, or because I am glutton for punishment, I completed my second Master’s degree in TESOL from Madonna University. I value education and I am constantly reading and trying to improve myself as an individual and as an Educator. I am looking forward to this school year with all the hope and renewed energy that a new school year brings us. I can’t wait to connect and get to know each one of my students and their families in different/new ways.
A little bit about me: I have been married to my husband for 8 years and we have two adorable kiddos, Easton and Ellie. We enjoy going for family walks and getting outside as much as possible! I love to read, watch sports and eat good food. My reality however is watching Daniel Tiger, picking up Legos before I step on them and laundry. I feel so grateful to have a job I love, to be working in a place that I love with the BEST teachers/coworkers ever.
“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”
