Mrs. Michelle Meschke

Hello, my name is Mrs. Meschke, and I have been teaching at Melvindale High School for 20 years. I have a Bachelors degree in Secondary Education with a Major in English Language and Literature, and a Minor in Social Sciences from Eastern Michigan University. My Masters Degree is in Curriculum and Development from Concordia University.

 

My husband and I have 2 daughters who have been connected with our community as my oldest is support staff at MHS, and my youngest graduated from MHS in 2019. We are a Cardinal Family!

 

Aside from my school focus on literacy, I have coached cheerleading and color guard, and I have sponsored 2 graduating classes here. Currently, I am the school's sponsor for Key Club. Please ask me about joining!

 

In my free time I enjoy reading, yoga, playing with our dog, Lola, and figure skating. The past several years I have figure skated competitively on a local Masters level synchronized skating team.
