Today you are going to develop your thesis statement.

A thesis statement is one sentence that expresses the main idea of a research paper or essay, such as an expository essay or argumentative essay. It makes a claim, directly answering a question.
You must be very specific, summarizing points that are about to be made in your paper, and supported by specific evidence. Generally, your thesis statement can be the last line of the first paragraph in your research paper or essay. It must be provable.

Bad: All retirees should relocate to Florida.
- Too broad and unspecfic

Good: Retirees should relocate to Florida, where 75% of Americans choose to settle, because you will afford yourself the opportunity to develop a wide array of friendships.

Resources:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFp1uGTXo4Q

https://examples.yourdictionary.com/thesis-statement-examples.html

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScpq6bH0zvD5I05EnQRdpBcEIdhgSy-taI_k1orombss_j1xA/viewform?usp=sf_link

PICK A TOPIC THAT INTERESTS YOU!!!!

https://www.myspeechclass.com/good-and-interesting-research-paper-topics.html
